Made In Broward, 4-H and The Flagler Village Monarchs
At Made In Broward, we sponsor the Flagler Village Monarchs 4-H Club, the Broward 4-H Association, and the Florida 4-H Foundation.
Our club sponsorship takes the form of 4-H program leadership and providing the space, materials, and instruction for members to work on their own projects and prepare for competitions.
Our county 4-H sponsorship takes the form of funding the 4-H Community Fair, staged every year in March at the African American Research Library and assisting other club members with clothing and textile projects.
Our Florida 4-H Foundation sponsorship consists of participation at the board level, advocating for changes to 4-H that will increase the reach to all youth regardless of their financial situation, and funding for competitions that could lead to the state level.
Made in Broward sponsors 4-H because of its 100-year track record of training youth to develop producer mindsets; healthy, independent thinkers and masterful, contributing fellow citizens ready to take their rightful place in the world.
When we support local 4-H producers, we contribute to a healthier, more prosperous and inclusive Broward.
